Spalding’s Grant Christiansen prevails as the 2026 MIAA Individual Stroke Play Champion
Calvert Hall’s Landon O’Hara finishes second, three shots back
Archbishop Spalding’s Grant Christiansen carried a one shot lead into the final round of 2026 MIAA Individual Golf Stroke Play Championship, Tuesday at Bulle Rock Golf Course, and he parlayed that into a three-shot victory for the title.
Christiansen had fired a two-under-par 70 in Monday’s opening round, at Worthington Manor Golf Club, and came back with an even par 72 at Bulle Rock, to finish at -2. He was the only golfer in the field to shoot under par for the tournament.
Calvert Hall’s Landon O’Hara finished second at +1, after shooting a two-over-par 74 on Tuesday. After the first round, O’Hara was at -1 and tied with Gilman’s William Kettere.
Kettere, unfortunately struggled, shooting an 85 on Tuesday, and finished in a four way tie for ninth place.
McDonogh’s Landon Rottman shot even par a 75 on Tuesday to finish in third place, five strokes back of Christiansen. McDonogh’s Sawyer Baines (151) and Spalding’s Charlie Solomon (152) rounded out the top five.
Christiansen and his Spalding teammates also won the team championship, edging McDonogh 606-609 over the two rounds of competition.
