Greyhounds rout Gerstell for third straight

The Gilman basketball team won for the third straight time, Wednesday, routing visiting Gerstell Academy, 73-40, in MIAA A Conference basketball.

The Greyhounds (10-7 overall, 7-4 MIAA A), who are in second place in the Black Division of the A Conference, won all four quarters and raced out to a commanding 41-20 lead at the half.

Chris Winborne scored a game-high 24 points to lead the way for Gilman, which also got 16 points from Jordan Foster and 12 from Jalen Marshall.

Gerstell (6-16 overall), which is now 0-12 in its first year in the A Conference, was paced by Dayyan Noble, who scored 15 points, and Antwan Thompson, who finished with 14.
