Top-ranked McDonogh, the reigning MIAA A Conference lacrosse champion, continued its excellent start to the 2017 season, with a dominant performance against national powerhouse Havreford (PA), defeating the visiting Fords, 17-9, at McDonogh.

The Eagles (3-0) got goals from nine different players and seven players scored two or more.

Jack Parr, who netted a hat-trick, and Jack Sweeney, who delivered four assists, owned the day for McDonogh. Alex Pitts, Liam Powderly, Roma Mantelli, George Ward, Matt Hilgartner and Griffin Catlett all scored twice each, while Jack Simmons and Tye Mitchell had one goal each.

Powderly and Jackson Cummings each added a pair of assists, while BJ Farrare and Riley Mitchell had one each.
