Panthers rout Mount Carmel, 88-51


St. Frances got points from 12 different players with 10 of them scoring six or more points, Monday, as the Panthers opened their Baltimore Catholic League schedule with an 88-51 home rout of Mount Carmel.

Junior Jordan Toles led the dozen Panther (2-0, 1-0 BCL) scorers with 18 points. The balanced attack also included 12 points each from seniors Rajeir Jones and Jason Murphy, while junior Ace Baldwin was silky smooth with six points, six rebounds, a steal and 12 assists. In addition senior Emmanu Balogun cleared the glass with 10 rebounds.

The Panthers jumped up by nine after one quarter and then outscored the Cougars 27-7 in the second quarter to go into the half cruising, at 50-22.

Teon Rushing paced Mount Carmel (0-2, 0-1 BCL) with 13 points.
