Mount St. Joseph senior Jordan McNeil hit a pair of free throws, with just 0.2 seconds left in regulation, to send Monday’s Baltimore Catholic League Championship Game into overtime, and then he hit what proved to be a game-winning three-pointer, with 13 seconds left, to help the Gaels survive an epic battle with Calvert Hall, 72-69, to win their third consecutive BCL title.

BCL Player of the Year Phil Booth led the Gaels with 28 points, while McNeil and Jaylen Adams each scored 18 points.  The combined 64 points followed a 63 point effort by the trio in Sunday’s semifinal win over St. Frances.

Drew Edwards led the Hall with 21 points and Evan Phoenix had 17.
