Senior Jordan Geber pitched a complete game three-hitter and four players each drove in two runs as No. 1 Archbishop Spalding High defeated John Carroll School, 10-0, in a MIAA A Conference baseball contest Thursday in Anne Arundel County.

Justin Caesar, Kris Burkowski, Nick Benitez and Evan Fochtman each had two RBI for the Cavaliers (18-4 overall, 11-3 MIAA A), who won their second straight after dropping two of three (both two unranked squads) after ascending to No. 1. The three-time defending champs sit a half-game behind Calvert Hall College for first.

Gerber struck out five and walked only one. Spalding plays at McDonogh School Monday afternoon.
