Saints Peter & Paul has been one of the surprise teams in the MIAA B Conference soccer race in 2016 and the Sabres picked up their third win of the year, Friday, blanking Park School, 2-0, in Easton.

Nathan Biddle and James Hastings each scored in the victory. Saints Peter & Paul is now 3-1 overall and in the league and its nine points leave it just three points back of first-place Friends School (4-0), which defeated the Sabres, 2-1, last week.

Next up for Saints Peter & Paul, next Wednesday, is a trip to two-time defending league champion Severn. Park (2-4 overall) slipped to 1-2 in the league.
