Mike Kelly, an assistant coach for the last several seasons at Loyola Blakefield, has taken over for Jimmy Crowley as the head coach of the Dons and is seeking to build on a strong 2016 campaign.

The 2017 Dons will go as far as their pitching can take them. That was the case last spring when they proved they could beat any team in the talent rich MIAA A Conference and lose to anyone as well.

Kelly welcomes back six starters with Carson Barnes, who is an imposing 6-foot-3, 170-pound right-hander, set to lead the pitching staff.

Other top returners for the Dons include third-baseman AJ Holcomb, pitcher/centerfielder James Moses, catcher/1st-baseman Hunter Spalt, shortstop/pitcher Will Glock and catcher Jack Glock.
