Fueled by a big performance from senior Everette Hammond, St. Vincent Pallotti traveled to No. 14 Gilman, Wednesday, and came away with a 70-58 MIAA A Conference victory.

The Panthers (3-5, 1-2 MIAA A) busted things open with by outscoring the Greyhounds 21-8 in the second quarter.

Hammond scored a game-high 17 points, followed by 14 points from Kyron Martin, as well as 12 points and nine rebounds from Abdoul Karim Coulibaly. Stephen Cannady also chipped in with four points and eight assists.

Gilman’s Jalen Rucker led all scorers with 20 points. The Greyhounds are now 5-4 overall and 1-2 in the league.
