Fischer and Moore combine for 26 points to pace Dons

Mitch Fischer led a balance effort for No. 8 Loyola Blakefield Monday evening.

With four players providing perfect scoring balance with double-figure scoring, No. 8 Loyola Blakefield won for the seventh consecutive time, Monday in Annapolis, cruising to a 73-35 MIAA A Conference win over Annapolis Area Christian School.

The Dons (12-4 overall, 5-2 MIAA A) jumped out early, leading 23-9 after one quarter and 43-21 at the half, before cruising through the second half. Mitch Fischer and Jordan Moore shared team-high scoring honors with 13 points each, while Cam Smith added 12, and Bennett Gioioso netted 10.

Loyola is currently in fourth place in the Red Division of the A Conference, but just one game out of first.

AACS (4-8 overall) fell to 1-6 in the Black Division.
