Calvert Hall senior wide receiver Lawrence Cager caught a pair of touchdowns passes from Kenji Bahar, including the game-winner for a second straight week, as No. 4 Calvert Hall went on the road, Friday night, to defeat No. 9 Archbishop Spalding, 17-10, in MIAA A Conference football.

Calvert Hall (4-1) went up 10-0 in the first half, as Peter Ferrara booted a 29-yard field goal, late in the first quarter, and Cager scored on a 25-yard toss from Bahar with just 26-seconds left in the first half.

Spalding (2-3) rallied to tie as Rylan Sweetney rushed for an 8-yard touchdown run, in the third quarter, and Zach Vance kicked a 33-yard field goal, early in the fourth.

That set the stage for Cager and Bahar to connect once again for a 33-yard TD pass, with 5:21 to play.

Sweetney rushed for 73 yards to lead Spalding and Brennon Dingle rushed for an additional 63 yards.

Bahar passed for 172 yards, with Cager catching five for 74 yards.  Morgan Scroggins caught six passes for 64 yards, while Timothy Masses rushed 15 times for 89 yards.
