Anderson’s hat-trick leads the way for the Friars


No. 4 Archbishop Curley overpowered No. 19 Bel Air, Monday in East Baltimore, in boys’ soccer, as the Friars rolled to a 7-1 over the visiting Bobcats.

Senior Jalen Anderson led the way scoring three goals and adding an assist. Justin Karas, Kenny Clapp, Tyler Harry and Bryce Woodward also found the back of the net for Curley (3-1-1).

Dylan Sloan chipped in two assists with Victor Bravo, Brady Geho and Clapp also recording helpers.

Bel Air (1-3) lost for the third straight time and it was the Bobcats second straight lopsided loss to an MIAA A Conference team.
