After having its high-powered offense frustrated on Tuesday at Boys’ Latin School, second-ranked Calvert Hall College bounced back on Friday afternoon with a 13-6 MIAA A Conference lacrosse win over visiting Gilman School at Russo Stadium in Towson.

Five Cardinals score multiple goals led by 3 goals and an assist from senior midfielder Ethan Mintzer and 2 goals and 3 assists from junior attack JT Bugliosi.

Jack Kinner delivered 2 goals and an assist, while Jacob Kelly and Brendan Curry scored twice each. The Cardinals received single goals from Zach Green, Michael Fanshawe, Connor Pearce and Chance Campbell.

For Gilman, Johnny Shapiro and Woody Kelly scored 2 goals each and Wade Oursler had a goal and an assist. Andy Andrews also scored a goal for the Greyhounds. Austin Hudson added an assist.

Calvert Hall (11-2 overall) is now 3-1 in the A Conference, while Gilman (1-10) falls to 1-3 in league play.
