Hood tosses a complete game; Hilliard drives in three

Seventeenth-ranked St. Mary’s dominated Anne Arundel County public school baseball power Arundel, Tuesday, blanking the No. 3 Wildcats, 11-0, in five innings.

Starting pitcher Andy Hood tossed a complete game two-hitter, striking out four and walking three.

Chase Hilliard homered and walked for the Saints as he drove in three runs and scored two. Miles Christian had two hits, including a double, while scoring twice and picking up two RBI’s. Nick Hopkins also had a double and an RBI.

Arundel is now 2-2 this spring.
