No. 15 McDonogh School is off to a 2-0 start in MIAA A Conference basketball as the Eagles went on the road Monday and defeated 10th-ranked St. Vincent Pallotti, 69-62, in Laurel.

Junior Noah Locke paced the Eagles with 20 points and his senior backcourt mate Damion Chong-Qui scored 15 in the victory.

McDonogh is now 5-2 overall and has become the first team to go 2-0 in the A Conference in the early season. The Eagles will face No. 5 Calvert Hall at home on Wednesday.

Pallotti fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the A Conference.
