McCarthy paces the Admirals with a goal and an assist

Homecoming is always a great day to secure a win, but for No. 13 Severn it seems like every other day is fine as well. The Admirals won for the 11th consecutive time on Saturday, defeating visiting St. Vincent Pallotti, 3-0, in boys soccer.

Colin McCarthy staked the Admirals (11-1) to a 1-0 lead with an unassisted gaol and then assisted on a score by Davis Cawlfield. Hudson Lamb then capped the scoring with an unassisted tally.

Severn held an 11-5 advantage in shots. The Admirals, who are 8-0 and in first place in the MIAA B Conference, return to league play this week when they host Indian Creek on Wednesday.

Pallotti, which is contending in the MIAA C Conference fell to 9-2-3 on the season.
