Defending MIAA B champ loses to PG’s Roosevelt

St. Vincent Pallotti, the reigning football champion in the MIAA B Conference, fell to 0-2 Friday night as it fell to Eleanor Roosevelt of Prince George’s County, 30-15.

Roosevelt, ranked No. 14 in DC by the Washington Post, was led by quarterback Jaden Faulkner, who rushed for three touchdowns, including two long runs in the fourth quarter.

Down 14-0 at the half, Pallotti got on the board in the third quarter with a 70-yard touchdown pass from Clay Vance to Jelani Foster. Down 30-7 in the fourth quarter, the Panthers added a 10-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Stewart to Corey Mcleod. Blake led Pallotti on the ground with 75 yards on 11 carries.
