No. 11 Boys’ Latin School hosted No. 12 Calvert Hall College in MIAA A Conference basketball, Friday night, and raced to a 73-59 victory.

The Lakers did most of their damage early, outscoring Calvert Hall 26-16 in the second quarter to build a 43-30 halftime lead.

Junior Jaylin Andrews, who had a game-high 17 points to lead the Lakers, scored eight in the big second quarter, as did freshman Brandon Murray, who netted 12 points in the contest.

Senior Brandon Bradsher also had a big night, scoring 15 points, while sophomore Cameron Spencer added 10 points.

Logan Curtis led Calvert Hall with a game-high 23 points, while Brandon Adams netted 17.

The Lakers are now 12-6 overall and 3-4 in the A Conference. Calvert Hall (8-11 overall) fell to 4-5 in the league.
