Calvert Hall senior star Drew Edwards paced four Calvert Hall players in double figures and the top-ranked Cardinals won a physical MIAA A Conference road battle at McDonogh, Friday, to stay unbeaten.

Edwards, who will play at Providence University next year, scored 23 points and his running mate Nico Clareth added 19. Clareth, before being ejected from the contest in the third quarter.

Justin Goram added a dozen points for the Cardinals (3-0, 1-0) and Evan Phoenix finished with 10 points. Reggie Rouse and TJ Duckett added six points each.

Sophomore Jaedon Willis led McDonogh with 22 points and Evan Fisher scored 18 for the Eagles (2-2, 2-1).
