Gaels rally to defeat St. Paul’s 11-3
After watching visiting St. Pauls score three runs in the top of the first inning, Mount St. Joseph went to work, scoring seven times over the next three innings and going on to capture an 11-3 MIAA A Conference baseball victory over the Crusaders, Tuesday in Irvington.
Naite Reese was 3-for-4 with a double and five RBI’s to lead the Gaels, as they improved to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
Michael Rosen was 2-for-3 with 2 RBI’s and Conor Feustle pitched five strong innings and Brad Howell pitched the final two innings.
St. Joe (5-2 overall, 3-2 MIAA A) is now off to Myrtle Beach, SC for a spring break time. St. Paul’s is now 0-4 overall and in the league.
