No. 2 Calvert Hall scored 12 times in the last three innings, Monday, to run away from Loyola for a 13-0 MIAA A Conference baseball victory over the Dons, at Blakefield.

The late offense proved to be all gravy for the Cardinals as Brennan Maher and Daniel O’Connor combined to allow just one-hit. Maher no-hit the Dons through five innings and struck out 10, but left the game after throwing 95 pitches. O’Connor tossed the final two innings, allowing one hit and striking out two.

Garrett Matheny went 5-for-5 with a triple and a home run with four RBI to lead the Calvert Hall attack. JP Murphy was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in two.

Brendan Webster also had a triple and a pair of RBI, while Jose Torres had one hit, scored three runs and drove in three and Spencer Blair had a triple, a run and  an RBI.
