A pair of goals by senior Josh Lurie proved decisive as host Boys’ Latin defeated Friends School, 2-0, in MIAA B Conference soccer action on Monday.

Lurie’s first goal came when he headed the ball into the side panel off of a redirect from Brendan Mulally, in the game’s first 10 minutes.

The score remained 1-0 until Lurie netted the clincher with just four minutes remaining in the second half.

Boys’ Latin (1-4 overall) evened its league record at 1-1. Friends is also now 1-1 in the league and 1-1 overall.
