Patriots extend win streak to four while the Cardinals fall fourth straight time


Two teams speeding in opposite directions met at Calvert Hall, Friday, in MIAA A Conference basketball action and John Carroll dominated the host Cardinals, 71-46, for the Patriots fourth consecutive victory.

Jalen Bryant, who seems to improve with every outing, scored a game-high 27 points, to lead the way for the Patriots (6-5 overall). Jeannot Basima and Tyson Commander combined for 26 more.

After winning five of six game, Calvert Hall (5-6 overall) has now lost four straight with average margin of loss, in those games, of 27.25 points. The Carindals and Patriots are now tied for 6th place in the league, with Loyola, all 5-5.
