Patriots defeat No. 16 Mount St. Joe

In it’s last outing, No. 16 Mount St. Joseph played perhaps its best game of the season, holding No. 2 St. Mary’s to just seven goals and losing only by two in MIAA A Conference action.

The Gaels, however, re-learned a point they were already well aware of, on Tuesday, when they traveled to John Carroll – there are no breaks in the A Conference schedule.

The host Patriots, who were also looking for their first conference win of 2020, broke through with a 14-goal effort in defeating the visiting Gaels, 14-9 in Bel Air.

John Carroll as paced by four goals and two assists fro Travis Smith and three goals from Cam Carrington.

John Carroll (2-6 overall) is now 1-4 in the league, while St. Joe (4-5 overall) is 0-5 in the MIAA A.
