In only its second year as a MIAA member school, Jemicy has placed two teams – lacrosse and golf – in the MIAA C Conference playoffs, marking the first two Jemicy to reach post-season play in the MIAA.

The lacrosse team clinched the sixth seed on Tuesday when it defeated Chapelgate Christian, 8-6. Jake Gurley scored 4 goals and had 3 assists to lead the offense and freshman goalkeeper had 15 saves. The Vikings will visit 3rd-seeded Beth Tfiloh in a quarterfinal game on Friday.

The golf team, led by senior Jake Quartner, who is undefeated this spring, and sophomore Chris Prigg and have claimed the third seed.

Last spring, the Jemicy lacrosse team played a non-conference schedule and the golf team did not even exist.
