The Indian Creek boys soccer team opened MIAA C Conference play, Wednesday, with a 2-1, overtime win over St. Vincent Pallotti, a Fairland Regional Park.
Max Jansen scored both goals for the Eagles (3-1, 1-0), including the game-winning in overtime.
ICS controlled much of the first half and created the clearer chances but Pallotti (1-3-1, 0-1) was always dangerous on the break. The Eagles took the lead in the second half when a Cameron Lacey shot was saved, but followed by Max Jansen who netted the rebound to give the Eagles a 1-0 advantage.
Pallotti scored on a long free kick into the box with 20 minutes to go and the game went to overtime. Five-minutes into OT, a flowing 5-pass move ended with Max Jansen cooly slotting the ball past the Panther keeper for the win.
