Behind a strong pitching performance from Brendan Grady, Glenelg Country defeated Annapolis Area Christian, 10-1, in MIAA B Conference baseball action, Thursday at Gambrills Athletic Center.

After giving up one run in the first inning, Grady went on to pitch six scoreless innings to earn the complete game victory. He only needed 67 pitches to scatter three hits and one walk.

Marcus Khademi, Cole Sterry and Michael Diangelo each collected two hits with Khademi driving in four runs.

The Dragons (8-6 overall) improved to 8-3 in the league where they are in the second place, battling with Severn (7-4) for the second seed for the upcoming playoffs.

AACS (7-9 overall) fell to 4-7 in the league and the Eagles are clinging to the sixth and final playoff position, one game in front of Park School (3-8).
