One night after suffering a loss to McDonogh in its MIAA A Conference basketball opener, Glenelg Country bounced back, Wednesday, with a big offensive effort and an 83-65 non-conference win over John Paul the Great.

Senior star Anthony Longpré led the way with 23 points and transfer Jalen Gabbidon poured in 22 to lead the Dragons (2-1). CJ Wilson added 10 points.

The Dragons roared out of the locker room, scoring 50 first half points as they built a 12 point lead and were never threatened.
