Dragons are now 3-0 in MIAA C league play

The Glenelg Country boys’ soccer team improved to 3-0 in MIAA C Conference league play, Wednesday, blanking homesteading Key School, 3-0.

Matt Palmisano and Peter Karabatis each scored first half goals to stake the Dragons to a 2-0 advantage. Park Holbrook, who also had an assist, scored the final tally in the second half. Anish Kasimsetty also added an assist for GCS.

In goal, Jeb Pappus recorded seven saves earn the shutout.

With the victory, Glenelg Country improved to 3-1 overall. The still trail Key, which is 4-1 in league, play by three points in the MIAA C Conference Black Division Standings.
