Forbush scores four to lead the Quakers in MIAA B lax action

Friends School outscored visiting Saints Peter & Paul 5-2 in the fourth quarter, Thursday, to subdue the Sabres and pull away for a 15-10 MIAA B Conference lacrosse victory, on Charles Street. It was the season-opener for the Quakers.

SSPP scored three consecutive goals in the third quarter to close within one, at 8-7, but senior Ned Forbush scored to stem the tide and the Quakers would pull away from there. Forbush had a big afternoon with a game-high four goals, while teammates Harry Deller and Bryan Hastings also produced hat-trricks.

Also scoring for Friends were Owen Grahling, Colin Dubose, Sam Burgunder and Bo Whiteford.

Saints Peter & Paul fell to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the league.
