Rossano Jones and Jihar Williams each scored 23 points, Monday, as Friends School went on the road and knocked off No. 18 Dulaney, 55-51, in a non-conference boys’ basketball clash.

The Quakers (2-0) took a six-point lead after one quarter and led nearly the entire way as they spoiled the Lions’ season opener. Williams, a William & Mary commit, and Jones figure to be one of the top tandems in the MIAA B Conference this winter and may put the Quakers in position to challenge for a league title.

Highly touted freshman Che Evans, Jr. scored 17 points to lead Dulaney, but no other Lion reach double-figures. Cole Harshman and Lamont Sanders combined for 16 points for the Lions.
