Bouncing back from a road loss at John Carroll, No. 6 Archbishop Curley went on the road, Friday, and tripped No. 5 Mount St. Joseph, 2-1, in overtime, in MIAA A Conference soccer action.
Kyle Mizell scored both goals for Curley, including the game winner seven minutes into overtime. Julian Caparros scored for St. Joe.
Curley (5-3 overall) improved its league record to 2-2. St. Joe (2-3 overall) is now 1-2 in the conference.
Elsewhere in the MIAA A Conference, host Archbishop Spalding earned a 1-1 draw with No. 8 Calvert Hall.
Tiger Whitman scored for the visitng Cardinals and Hunter Alchin scored for Spalding, but neither team could break through in the two overtime periods.
Calvert Hall (2-2-1 overall) is now 1-1-1 in the league. Spalding (1-4-1 overall) got its first league point to move to 0-3-1 in the confrence.
