Brown’s hat-trick leads the way for the Friars
After scoring 17 times in a season-opening win over Saints Peter & Paul, the Archbishop Curley lacrosse team came back with 13 goals, Friday, as the Friars moved 2-0 in the MIAA B Conference with a 13-6 home win over Park School.
Jordan Brown led the Friars with three goals and an assist, while David Bell and Nick Ramage each had two goals and two assists. Jake Cunningham also scored twice for the Friars, with Noah Keller, Josh Knapp, Nigel Bowden and Scott Kahl pumping in once score each.
Ben Smith also made a big contribution with three assists, while Brendon Clay, Knapp and Kahl had one each.
Ian Zumpano led the Bruins with a game-high four goals. Ben Askew and Ryan Bradley also scored for Park.
