Not only has top-ranked Calvert Hall been scoring goals in bunches this season, they have been doing it with multiple goal scorers contributing.
On Tuesday, the Cardinals remained undefeated in MIAA A Conference play by getting goals from 10 different players in an 11-2 win over Mount St. Joseph, at Calvert Hall.
Senior JT Bugliosi was the only Cardinal to go to the well more than once, as he had two goals and two assists. Other multi-point producers included Jacob Kelly (1 goal, 2 assists), Brendan Curry (1 goal, 1 assist) and Zach Green (1 goal, 1 assist).
Also scoring for Calvert Hall were Connor Mitchell, Daniel Kelly, Grant Mitchell, Connor Mitchel, Cole Herbert and Ryan Swain.
In goal, Liam Darrah had seven saves for the Cardinals and Jackson Marshall came on to make four saves.
Brent McVicker scored both goals for St. Joe and Alex Jenkins had an assist. Kyle Botsford made 10 stops in the Gaels’ goal.
Calvert Hall (11-2 overall) is now 5-0 in the league and remains tied for first-place with No. 2 Boys’ Latin, also 5-0, after a 17-8 win over Archbishop Spalding on Tuesday. St. Joe (2-7 overall) is one of three winless teams in MIAA A play, along with Spalding and Severn, all at 0-5.
