No. 2 Calvert Hall picked up another impressive non-conference win, Tuesday in Philadelphia, as the Cardinals pulled out a tight, 7-6, overtime win over host Malvern Prep.

JT Bugliosi scored the game winner 55 seconds into the extra period to cap off a defensive struggle. The Cardinals trailed 5-4 at the end of three quarters, but surged in front by one with two early scores in the fourth quarter, before Malvern drew even and forced overtime.

The Cardinals (5-1) would not have been in the game at all were it not for a sensational performance by goalkeeper Joe McSorely who saved 20 shots.

Bugliosi netted a team-high 3 goals and Jack Kinnear had 2 goals and an assist. Zach Green and Ethan Mintzer also scored, while Jacob Kelly had a pair of assists. Connor Pearce and Michael Fanshaw also had assists.
