Patterson Mill debuts; Curley returns as postseason nears


Anne Arundel County powers Broadneck High and Severna Park made nice gains this week, each moving up three spots to enter the Top 5 of the VSN Boys Soccer Week 6 Top 20. The Bruins and Falcons are the favorites to meet for the Anne Arundel County title.

The top three slots in the poll continue to be held by MIAA A powers, No. 1 Calvert Hall, No. 2 McDonogh and No. 3 Loyola Blakefield.

Debuting in this week’s rankings is No. 16 Patterson Mill, which is currently 6-1. Archbishop Curley has returned to the rankings at No. 18.
