Forgive the Gilman School basketball team if it does not want to see Boys’ Latin School’s Jaylin Andrews again anytime soon. Andrews absolutely dominated the Greyhounds, Friday, leading his Lakers to an 85-76 MIAA A Conference victory inside The Finney Center in Roland Park.

Andrews had a 3-pointer in each quarter and scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Laker offense. If that was not enough, he dominated the boards, hauling in 19 rebounds and adding four assists.

Connor Walsh was nearly just as impressive, scoring 22 points and dishing out seven assists. Brandon Bradsher added 16 points and four assists, while Kenny Lewis had 13 points and nine rebounds.

Sophomore Jalen Rucker and senior Drew Ehrlich each scored 19 points to lead Gilman. The Greyhounds also got 15 points from Brandon Madison.

Boys’ Latin (15-6 overall) improved to 6-4 in the A Conference. Gilman (7-13 overall) is 1-9 in the league.
