Indian Creek and Beth Tfiloh squared off on Old Court Road, Friday, with matching 2-1 MIAA C Conference soccer records, and the host Warriors came away with the victory, 2-1.

The Warriors struck first, in the 28th minute of the first half, as senior Jacob Welfeld finished his own rebound after being set up by junior Scott Tepper.

Four minutes later, Welfeld struck again, this time off a great square pass from sophomore Justin Tepper.  Indian Creek pulled a goal back in the 69th minute off a penalty shot converted by senior Patrick Fleming.

The Eagles appeared to have equalized a few minutes later off a rebound from a free kick, but the goal was called back for offsides.  Beth Tfiloh hung on for the victory and advanced to 3-1 in the conference while Indian Creek fell to 2-2.
