Veteran assistant has worked at Good Counsel since 2014

St. Vincent Pallotti has announce that Anthony “Tony” Ashley has been named the school’s new head football coach, replacing Ian Thomas who stepped down in May.
Ashley comes to Pallotti from Good Counsel High School where he had been an assistant varsity football coach since 2010, working with the team’s running backs coach under coaching legend Bob Milloy, from 2014-2017, and continuing under current Falcons’ head coach Andy Steffanelli.
Ashley has also been a head football coach for many youth organizations including the Maryland Falcons, MoHoCo Lions and Columbia Ravens. In addition to being a head coach of these organizations over the years, he has also been the Founder or Founding Partner for the Select Elite Championship Football League, NG365 (Maryland Youth Football), National Youth Indoor Football League and the Mason Dixon Bowl.
“I am very excited to work with Coach Ashley as he brings knowledge, experience, and excitement to Pallotti,” said Pallotti athletic director Pat Courtemanche. “He has been recommended by several area high school coaches as one of the best and upcoming assistant coaches that would make a great fit as a new head varsity football coach. Coach Ashley will to continue to build a championship football program and attract quality student athletes.”
