Junior forward Jaylin Andrews surpassed the 1,000 career points milestone, Saturday in Brooklandville, as he scored 13 in helping Boys’ Latin School thump host St. Paul’s School, 66-45, in a non-league MIAA basketball contest.
Boys’ Latin (18-10) seized control of the game in the second quarter when they outscored the Crusaders 26-11. Brendan Bradsher led the second-quarter surge, scoring 10 of his 14 points in the period.
Connor Walsh was the team-high point man for the Lakers with 19 points and Brandon Murray added 11 and seven rebounds. The Lakers hit seven three-pointers in the contest.
Michael Ward paced St. Paul’s (15-8) with 16 points and Ziggy Reid scored 10.
