Outlook: The Lakers reached the MIAA B Conference title game last year after upending top-seeded Archbishop Curley. The Lake Avenue school will look to some new faces as it look for another postseason trip.
Bopst and Roswell are back, but Schell is looking for higher production. The Lakers will have a host of running backs, led by veterans Rubino and Schultz. Brown is the lone returner on the offensive line.
Defensively, Black and Perkins will lead the line. The secondary may be the Lakers’ strongest unit with Rubino and McManus with Bruno and Gesualdi.
The Lakers open the season Friday with Class 4A state semifinalist and defending Baltimore County 4A/3A champ Catonsville.
