In what has become an annual Fall Ball college lacrosse event, reigning NCAA Division 1 National Champion North Carolina and Ohio State will meet at Calvert Hall’s Kelly Field, Saturday night, to raise funds for the Michael R. Breschi Scholarship Fund.

Michael Breschi was the son of North Carolina head coach Joe Breschi who was three years old when he was tragically killed in automobile accident in 2004. Breschi was then the head coach at Ohio State.

In addition to a 7:00 p.m. scrimmage between the Tar Heels and Buckeyes, the teams will conduct a Youth Clinic for players in grades 1 thru 8 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Admission to the scrimmage is $5.00, with kids under 12 getting in free. In addition, fans can participate in a post-game meal and tailgate with the coaches and players from both teams. The cost for the post-game event is $20.00. Bost rosters are litered with former local high school lacrosse stars, including several from Calvert Hall.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Breschi Scholarship Fund.
