Calvert Hall's Jacob Kelly and Alex Rode from St. Paul's are VSN's best for boys' lacrosse; Bryan Kelly and Dave Earl are co-coaches of the year

With Father Day's around the corner, the father/son combination of Bryan and Jacob Kelly highlight VSN's boys' lacrosse awards for 2017.

Calvert Hall College returned to glory this spring, winning the MIAA A Conference championship. Jacob Kelly was the consumate playmaker for the No. 1 Cardinals, and is Player of the Year.

Alex Rode continued St. Paul's School's tradition of elite goaltenders. The senior is Defensive Player of the Year. 

Bryan Kelly and Severna Park's Dave Earl are VSN's co-Coaches of the Year. Earl steered the Anne Arundel County school to a repeat as Class 4A/3A state champions. Bryan Kelly led the Cardinals to perfection in the area's toughest league.
