Gerstell lax rallies past Glenelg Country in overtime

Kovalsky scores tying and winning goals
CJ Kovalsky was held scoreless for most of Thursday’s MIAA B Conference lacrosse game between Gerstell Academy and visiting Glenelg Country School, but Kovalsky proved to be a hero in the end, as he lifted the Falcons to an 11-10 overtime victory, in Carroll County.

Kovalsky scored the tying goal late in the fourth quarter and then netted the game-winner in overtime.

Cam Mullinix scored four times to pace the Falcons, while Joey Tabak had two goals and three assists, Jake Higgins had one goal and four assists and Seth Higgins had a goal and two assists.

In addition, Kaden Ross added a goal and an assist, while Tyler Curtis contributed five saves.
